A cocktail lounge dedicated to serving two of the most popular tipples with drinkers could be opening in a town centre.
Huddy's Gin and Prosecco Bar could move into a former double glazing showroom in Rochester High Street, if a licence to sell alcohol is approved.
An application has been submitted by Cuneyt Kaya whose family also run the Kaya Barbers and the recently-opened Kaya Meze restaurant - both just further along the road.
The Grade II-listed premises used to be occupied by SupaGlazing but has been empty since the business re-located to Knight Road in Strood.
Standing next to The Royal Victoria and Bull Hotel, it occupies a prime spot in the town known for its vibrant night-time economy.
A few doors away there is Rochester's first dedicated cocktail bar, The Mixologist, which opened in June last year at the former Bistro M.
Jaggers cocktail bar opened at the business formerly known as Crepes, further along the High Street at the junction of Northgate, just before Christmas.
There is also a Kaya Barbers in Gillingham High Street.
