An investigation has found Google can collect information from smartphones when devices are off and the SIM cards removed.

The findings come as it is revealed mobile masts have been used to get hold of information on Android users.

But Google has said the information was never stored and Android would be updated to stop the practice. This is what people in Gillingham thought of the revelations.
