Children's gym and nursery providers Gymfinity Kids has opened its new Chatham centre today.
The new club at Chatham Maritime is the company's largest yet, including a nursery and state-of-the-art gym offering activity classes, holiday camps and parties for children from babies through to teenagers.
Gymfinity Kids says the centre will create more than 25 job opportunities.
The company claims to be "the UK’s first and only provider of clubs and nurseries using movement, nourishment and development to enhance overall wellbeing in children," and says its gymnastics and Ninja Knights classes are led by fully qualified coaches who specialise in supporting children and pre-school tots of all abilities and skill types.
As of today, the Chatham club will be offering more than 55 classes per week.
Each day, children are given access to the gym floor to get them active, while nourishment ambassador Annabel Karmel MBE, a children’s food expert, is working with the company to provide a balanced menu.
Jacques De Bruin, managing director at Gymfinity Kids, said: “At Gymfinity Kids, everything we do is rooted in an ambition to enhance children’s overall wellbeing and to lay the foundations for a happier, healthier nation.
"The pandemic saw inactivity levels soar and it is now more important than ever to get children active, to fuel their bodies with healthy food and to support their development. We are so excited to have opened our largest and most impressive club and nursery to date, in Chatham, and to encourage even more children to love being active.”

Last month Ninja Warrior UK opened in Chatham, providing obstacle courses based on the TV show of the same name - and reporters Megan Carr and Laoise Gallagher went along to have a go.
