From this week, the Medway Messenger will hit the shelves a day early, allowing you to start the weekend well-informed and bursting with ideas on what to do, where to go and who to see.

Copies of your independently-owned Messenger will be available from the same convenient locations, be it the supermarket, newsagent, petrol station or corner shop - just 24-hours earlier.

Nothing will change with the Monday Messenger - it will still come out at the start of the week.

The Thursday availability is designed to reflect changing trends and habits - and allow our readers to enjoy it at their own pace with an extended weekend reading time.

With a packed product to inform, entertain and engage, the extra day will come in handy to get the most out of your local paper.

It delivers page upon page of news, views, sport, local advertisers, services and entertainment.
