Officers from Medway Police are appealing for information into the whereabouts of a woman who has been reported missing.

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Nicola Wood, pictured here.

Ms Wood, 32, was last seen in Chatham High Street on Tuesday, October 20 and was reported missing a week later.

It is not known at this stage why she was not reported missing until Tuesday, October 27.

Officers say she is of mixed race, 5ft 1in and of slight build with long dark curly hair.

She was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket with a furry hood, black leggings and black plimsolls.

Ms Wood is known to frequent the Chatham and Rochester High Street areas and also has links to Margate and Sittingbourne.

Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is urged to call 101 quoting reference 27-941.
