Kevin Parrish hopes that a virus which laid low several members of his squad clears up in time before leaders Invicta Dynamos’ weekend ENIHL Division 1 South away double-header against Cardiff Devils and Bristol Pitbulls.
Head coach Parrish says six or seven of his squad were feeling below-par during Sunday’s 6-1 home win against the Pitbulls and admitted: "A few of the boys had coughs and colds and you could see it affected us because our tempo in the game wasn’t as good as should be."
He added: "Cardiff are a fast, physical, in your face team, and we haven’t got a result there for a couple of years. We have to go there and stick to our systems and hope to do well.
"I haven’t been to Bristol for 20 years. The rink’s a small building on top of a shopping centre and the crowd are really close to the ice. They are struggling a bit having come up from Division 2 but they beat Milton Keynes 6-4 last week."
