Firefighters have repeated warnings about the risk of blazes during the heatwave after undergrowth caught light.
The one hectare of vegetation, also including bushes and a tree, caught fire off Vicarage Lane, Hoo.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called out at 4.23pm today.
Two pumps were sent but crews were able to finish their task within 40 minutes.
The cause of this fire is not so far known but KFRS have reiterated general warnings about preventing fire in the present tinder-dry conditions.
They once again advise people to be extra cautious in disposing of cigarettes and not to light fires in the countryside or drop litter, which could be set alight.
A KFRS spokesman said: "If there is a fire get away as soon as you can but when you call the fire brigade give clear details of the location."
The Met Office on Monday issued an amber heatwave alert.
Temperatures have reached the low 30s and heatwave conditions are expected to continue until Friday.
Parts of Kent have had little or no rain for a month.
