Referee Dave Parris stopped the Gillingham boxer’s latest fight in the second round after Ukrainian opponent Stas Belokon was put on the canvas three times.

Dallas, 24, has now won all six of his professional bouts and promoter Frank Maloney has already lined him up with another fight next Friday (July 10) in Sunderland.

"It’s nice to keep fighting as when you have a long rest it’s harder to get going again," said Dallas, who has been working hard at St Mary’s gym.

"After a rest on Wednesday I’m training again now and back on it.

"The standard of opposition has been getting better, I’ve been feeling sharp and I’ve been putting people on the floor.

"I'd like to think people are starting to take notice of me now and hopefully I can have another win next Friday."

Dallas’ next opponent has yet to be named but he’ll be hoping for a tougher test than Belokon offered.

He said: "After training hard for six or seven weeks it’s a bit disappointing to then just go a round and a half."
