A police helicopter was called to help search for suspects after reports a man was assaulted by two men on motorbikes.

The incident happened just after 12pm in Lodge Hill Lane, Chattenden.

Officers attended the scene and spoke to the victim who had suffered injuries that are not described as serious.

The helicopter was called in to assist officers searching for the suspects.

Police say there have been no arrests at this stage.
