Third-placed Holcombe Hockey Club have slipped further behind the Men's Conference East leaders Old Loughtonians.

The Medway side went into the weekend's home game with Sevenoaks hopeful of a good result, but suffered a disappointing defeat on Saturday.

They went down 3-1 to the seventh-placed side and are now 14 points behind Old Loughts.

The league leaders had no such problems after they cruised to an easy 6-0 victory at Southgate.
