A fire that damaged a house in Chatham is thought to have been started deliberately.
Kent Fire and Rescue said the blaze at the property in Rochester Street was suspicious.
It broke out at 7.19pm on Saturday night and is thought to have started in rubbish and undergrowth in the garden of the two-storey unoccupied house.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with high-pressure hose reels and a main jet.
Approximately one fifth of the ground floor has been damaged by flames, with lighter damage to the upstairs.
There are no reports of any injuries and the fire has been reported to Kent Police as suspicious.
