At least 150 homes and businesses have been affected by a power cut.
A fault on an underground electricity cable said to be responsible for the blackout, which has hit people in the Hoo area near the Kingsnorth Power Station.
UK Power Networks initially said 207 customers were affected, however, it later downgraded that figure to 150.
The power went out at 7.08pm and was expected to remain off until 9pm, however, that has now been increased to at least 1am.
A UK Power Networks spokesman said: “Our engineers are working hard to fix it as quickly as possible.
“We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused.”
