Police are still hunting a driver following a car chase through Medway in the early hours of Friday morning.

At around 12.25am officers gave chase after spotting the car driving erratically near Star Hill, Rochester.

The vehicle eventually stopped in Clarendon Drive, Strood, and two people got out and fled.

Police dogs and the helicopter then joined in the search.

The passenger of the car, an 18-year-old man from Strood, was stopped in Hatfield Road, Strood, and arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug. He was later released without charge.
