A woman from Rochester is the latest person to be £1,000 richer thanks to kmfm.

The monthly competition £1,000 Friday began at 6pm last night with the winner announced this evening.

Thousands of people entered but it was Ashley Hudson who received a call from Drivetime presenter Jack Miles with the news.

Ashley won with her bonus third entry and says she plans on spending the money on her holiday to Scotland with her husband.

On hearing the news she said: "Oh my goodness! I kept saying it's going to be me today. My daughter entered too and I said no, it's going to be me.

"I can't believe it."
