A man was carried 32m along a motorway after he fell from a height into the path of a vehicle below, an inquest has heard.
Alexandru-George Capitanescu, a Romanian, suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead at the scene in Cuxton by medics.
The incident happened on the M2 at Junction 2 of the motorway on September 29.
Police were first called at 6.40pm to reports that a man was on the wrong side of the barrier above the motorway.
Two passers-by stopped and tried to talk to him, but Mr Capitanescu suddenly fell and was struck by a vehicle, went under it and was carried some distance before it stopped.
He was declared dead at the scene at 7pm.
A post-mortem examination found his death was due to injuries sustained in a road traffic collision.
Mr Capitanescu was single and lived at Beach Street in Sheerness. He was 37.

Following the incident, traffic on the coast-bound carriageway of the M2 was gridlocked, with the road closed until 11.50pm.
Coroner Bina Patel opened an inquest into his death at the Coroner’s Court at Oakwood House in Maidstone today (October 8) but adjourned it for the receipt of full reports until 10am on January 28 next year.
