Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish has set his side a target of three wins from their next three games to keep their season alive.
After three victories in a row last month, Dynamos have fallen off the pace again in ENIHL Division 1 South following successive defeats by the top two sides, Chelmsford Chieftains and Romford Raiders.
Parrish, pictured, believes nothing less than six points before the Christmas break will suffice if Mos are to challenge in the second half of the season, starting at home to Oxford City Stars on Sunday.
He said: "I feel that if we are to have any chance of breaking into the top two or three then we need to beat Oxford and Cardiff at home, and we are capable of doing that, followed by Romford away which will obviously be a much tougher task. But we’ve already beaten them once this season."
To do that, Dynamos will have to avoid a repeat of their first-period display during their 6-4 defeat to Raiders at the Silver Blades on Sunday where they turned round trailing 5-2 after conceding three goals in a five-minute spell.
He said: "We conceded two early goals, did well to get back to 2-2 but then just fell asleep. We won the next two periods 2-1 but the game was virtually all over by the end of the first period."
