Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish is happy to see his side go into the new ENIHL Division 1 South season without the pressure of the favourites tag.

Mos ended the 2010/11 campaign empty-handed for the first time in almost a decade and Parrish feels his side have been written off ahead of Saturday’s season opener at Bracknell Hornets, with the Berkshire side visiting Silver Blades on Sunday.

Parrish (pictured) said: "I am quite happy to be honest. . . for the first time in a long time we go into this season without being favourites, and that is good.

"We want to fly under the radar a bit and if teams want to write us off then good."

Invicta’s main headache comes with the fact they go into the season short of another netminder after Ben Hunt changed his mind about moving to Gillingham because of the travelling time from his home.

The Telford Titans netminder was lined up as back-up for Andy Moffatt following Andrew Dickson’s move to Belfast.

Parrish said: "We’ve been unfortunate with decisions not going out way this summer really, Dicko wanting to play at the top level in his home town is understandable, and we have to be sympathetic to Ben’s situation as he doesn’t drive."

Parrish will promote a netminder from the Mustangs for the games with Bracknell.
