Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish is urging his players to start believing in themselves ahead of the club’s play-off semi-final double header this weekend.
The Mos face a semi-final against ENIHL 1 South champions Wightlink Raiders, after overcoming Streatham Redskins in last weekend’s quarter-final.
Despite facing the newly-crowned champions, the Dynamos head coach (pictured) is convinced his players have what it takes to continue their journey toward silverware.
The Mos head to the Isle of Wight on Saturday for the first leg before the second leg at the Silver Blades Gillingham Ice Rink on Sunday.
Parrish said: "We have just got to start believing in ourselves.
"It will be tough but the play-offs are open and it should produce a great couple of games. We’ve played Wightlink four times already this season and picked up a win, two losses and a draw.
"The draw came at their place and the win was at home so hopefully that bodes well for us.
"As they have already won the league, they might feel they have just got to turn up to beat us.
"We want to carry on the journey. Players come to play for us to win leagues and we have to win something. Their attitude has been brilliant.
"The players know they haven’t performed to their potential this season and want to put that right."
Parrish is confident his netminding injury crisis is over after Andy Moffat won his battle against injury to play in the win against Streatham. He should have a fully-fit squad available for the weekend.
