Invicta Dynamos host Milton Keynes Thunder on Sunday with coach Kevin Parrish hoping they can continue where they left off the previous weekend.
Parrish (pictured) hailed last Sunday's 10-1 win at Streatham Redskins as the “performance of the season,” and will be keen for his side to take revenge against the Thunder, who secured a shock 3-2 victory over Dynamos last month.
The Streatham win saw Dynamos close the gap on ENIHL Division 1 South leaders Wightlink Raiders to three points, with three games in hand, and Parrish said: “It was an outstanding result and our performance of the season.
“Our decision-making was a lot better, we were tougher at the defensive end, gave ourselves more time on the puck and helped each other. Everyone chipped in and we had 18/20 guys all reading off the same page.”
The Streatham win followed an 11-3 victory over Swindon Wildcats 24 hours earlier although Dynamos trailed 2-1 after the first period.
“Our dressing room wasn’t the best place to be,” added Parrish. “I told the boys we had to grow up and do our jobs and they responded by scoring four or five quick goals.”
For the match with Thunder, Parrish has a full squad available, apart from forward Liam Chong, who is away with the Great Britain under-20 squad for the World Championships which start in Belarus on Monday.
