Invicta Dynamos come face to face on Saturday with the side who coach Kevin Parrish feels are capable of ending his team’s six-year domination of the ENIHL Division 1 South.
Dynamos travel to the Isle of Wight to take on Wightlink Raiders and Parrish said: "I’ll take the pressure off us and say the Raiders have got to win the league this year by showing their fans it was the right decision for them to step down from the English Premier League.
"They have got the biggest budget of any club in our league and it’s a tiny little rink down there, which makes it difficult for visiting teams."
It’s a busy weekend for Dynamos who will also be in action on Sunday with a home game against the Streatham Redskins (5.15pm), whom Invicta have already scored 16 goals against this season in two matches.
But Parrish will be looking for a more committed performance from his players after being dissatisfied with their display in last week’s 5-1 win over the Bracknell Hornets.
The win over Bracknell came courtesy of goals from Canadian import Peter Vaisanen (2), Nicky Lewis, Joe Johnston and Andy Smith as Dynamos extended their winning start to the season to six matches.
