Daniel Fudger has been rewarded for his excellent 2011-12 season in Invicta Dynamos’ colours with a new one-year contract from head coach Kevin Parrish.
The battling forward was a candidate for player-of-the-year with many Dynamos supporters after he made 43 appearances, scoring 11 goals and adding 27 assists.
"Dan was on top of his game last season," Parrish (pictured) said. "He played across all the lines and never looked out of place when he was a part of the first-line trio.
"He did a job whenever he took to the ice, brought some energy to our game and also got himself amongst the points.
"What sets Dan apart from many others is his desire to get stuck in, claim the puck and secure the win for his team.
"He battles from puck drop to final buzzer and it’s that commitment and passion that will see him perform an important role for us again in 2012/13."
Fudger’s acquisition takes Dynamos’ number of forwards to six and the squad-size for next season to 11.
