The Invicta Dynamos require two points from their final two games of the regular season to secure fourth spot in NIHL South Division 1.

The Mos visit play-off rivals Cardiff Devils on Saturday before returning to Gillingham for a home game with basement boys Solent & Gosport.

Head coach Kevin Parrish said: "Davey Jackson did well (against Wightlink). He made some good saves and he grew in confidence. He’s stepping up for us this weekend.

"We need two points to get fourth spot. I’d like to get the job done on Saturday, to take the pressure off for Sunday.

"It’s Gosport’s last game of the season before they go into the relegation play-offs and they could come out hell-for-leather."

Invicta look set to face Cardiff in the play-offs on the weekend of April 6 whatever this weekend’s results, although Bracknell could still overhaul the Welsh side.

Parrish said: "We could have pushed for third or second this season but we threw too many silly games away. We always want to stay in the top-four and don’t want Cardiff to finish above us but I wouldn’t say it’s been a season to remember."
