Kevin Parrish wants to remain in charge of Invicta Dynamos next season, but the club’s head coach will be looking for certain reassurances before he agrees a new contract.

Parrish, pictured, watched his side lose 13-7 on aggregate to the Romford Raiders in last weekend’s ENIHL South play-off semi-final and the coach – in charge since 2004 – said: "I will be happy to come back but my new contract has got to be right.

"There are also certain areas that need tightening up in the team and they need to be put in place pretty quick for next year, otherwise we will end up having another season like this one, which I guess you could put in the ‘should have done better’ category.

"The team doesn’t need a lot of changes, just a few tweaks here and there, and if we do that then I think we will be right up there challenging the big boys next year.

"But I’ve got to be able to get cracking on that as soon as possible."
