Coach Kevin Parrish says he would love for Andy Smith to go on to score 1,000 points for Invicta Dynamos under his management after the forward scored his 500th point in the top of the table victory over Cardiff.
The Dynamos swept aside the Devils 7-2 in front of a packed house at the Gillingham Ice Bowl to stamp their authority on ENIHL South Division 1.
Parrish said: "Andy Smith (pictured) is a credit to himself and to the club.
"He has got the bit between his teeth this season – he has been phenomenal. I hope he and I are still here to see him score his 1,000th point for Dynamos."
He added: "To beat Cardiff was a good result but there is always room for improvement.
"I think we still have to move the puck faster on the offensive end. I am never 100 per cent satisfied.
"It was good entertainment for the fans and I have never heard noise like it at Gillingham.
"The game had everything, hits, goals, fights.
"Hopefully we can continue with maximum points from our next two games but you can always slip up against any of the top-five teams in this division."
On Saturday Mos face a trip to Bracknell before taking on basement-boys Peterborough at home on Sunday.
