Invicta Dynamos can seal the ENIHL Division 1 South Championship with victory over Wightlink Raiders on Saturday.
Invicta are four points clear of Cardiff Dragons with two games in hand after last weekend's 4-2 win over Bracknell Hornets, but should they not win the title by avoiding defeat on the Isle of Wight, they will have an opportunity to do so in front of their own fans on Sunday when they host the Dragons at the Ice Bowl.
Director Jackie Mason said: "Obviously we would love to win the title in front of our own fans, but after a long season and lots of hard work we just want to secure the title – wherever that might be.
"Isle of Wight is a difficult place to go, with their small rink, but hopefully we can get at least the point we need."
The teams set to feature alongside the Mos in the end-of-season play-offs are Bracknell, Cardiff, Chelmsford, Oxford and Wightlink Raiders.
The top team will face the third-placed team, second will play fourth and third will take on sixth.
Mason added: "The play-off picture hasn’t been formed yet because there are still a few games to go.
"We have two major injuries with Nolan Boike and Ryan Giles both out, but I’m sure (head coach) Kevin Parrish is confident in the players we have remaining."
