Invicta Dynamos struck ten goals without reply on home ice against Milton Keynes Thunder on Sunday night.
The rout took Invicta’s goal tally for the season to 100 as they sit pretty at the top of the ENIHL Division 1 (South).
A stunning first period at the Gillingham Ice Bowl put the Mos 5-0 up, against a side who were short in numbers, with just 12 skaters and two netminders for the match.
Andy Smith (pictured) opened the scoring after eight minutes and Elliot Andrews doubled the lead before AJ Smith made it 3-0 on the powerplay.
A second for Andy Smith put Invicta 4-0 ahead and Joe Johnston added the fifth just before the close of the first.
A quieter second period saw Nicky Lewis grab the only goal as Invicta went into the final session six goals ahead.
Four more goals came before the end of the night against the lowly Milton Keynes side.
Andrews scored his second of the match and fourth of the season and a powerful effort from Anthony Lennon made it 8-0.
Laurence Billing scored the ninth and Peter Vaisanen completed the scoring.
