But after not using her passport, mobile phone or bank cards since March 3, she was reported missing to the Met Police on March 13.

Ms Kirby, who was raised in Parkwood, Gillingham, has been living on her own for almost four years in London.

The Ballards Lane, North Finchley resident left her job in early February and hasn’t been seen for four weeks.

Portia's brother, Max, who lives in Wigmore, says his family are desperate to find her.

The 31-year-old dad said: "Portia is from Medway and has extremely strong links in the area.

"We are very much clutching at straws as people do not just disappear. We just want her to get in contact with us or contact a friend.

"There is no suggestion as to what has happened with her - we have no idea.

"It's like she has fallen off the earth."

Portia stood for the Green Party for the Hendon constituency during the UK's General Election in 2019.

Max says she is a clever and special human being.

He added: "She's quite a unique individual and likes walking and going to the gym.

"She is a highly intelligent individual who has a master's degree and was a candidate to be an MP of the Green Party in the Hendon area of London.

"It has been confirmed by police that her bank cards have not been used for more than two weeks and her phone has not been used for the same period."

Those with information about Portia's whereabouts are being urged to contact the Met Police and quote reference 01/7262039/25.
