It's Friday the 13th!

Superstitious couples have been reluctant to tie the knot today, on what is considered the unluckiest day of the year.
There will be no “I do’s” at Medway Register Office as brides and grooms have shunned the first Friday the 13th of 2012 for their nuptials.
It’s in sharp contrast to last year, when five couples got married on Friday, August 13.
A spokesman for the register office said it was “quite unusual to have no weddings on a Friday in January.
Friday the 13th occurs at least once a year, but it can be as many as three times. There will be two more later this year, in April and July. The thirteenth day of the month will fall on a Friday when the first day of the month is a Sunday.
More than 60 million people across the world are thought to have an irrational fear of Friday the 13th, or to use its proper name paraskevidekatriaphobia.
The superstition is thought to have originated from the amalgamation of two older superstitions – that 13 is an unlucky number and that Friday is an unlucky day.

When it comes to superstitions, some people worry when a black cat crosses their path – but for Bob Driver (above) it was a black horse which brought him bad luck.
The 60-year-old from Cliffe narrowly escaped injury when his van collided with and killed a horse on a quiet country lane near his home. Bob was left bruised and shaking.
He said: “It was only when I was speaking to my neighbour about it that I started putting the coincidences together. I think the Ghosts of the Zulu War are haunting me.”
Bob is currently organising a history exhibition called The Ghosts of the Zulu War at the Black Horse pub in Pluckley, near Ashford, said to be the most haunted pub in England.
Bob has been running exhibitions about the war for the last 10 years. The first exhibition he ever organised was held at The Black Horse pub in Stanstead near Sevenoaks.
He added: “But joking aside I was lucky to walk away from the accident. I think if I had been in a car I could have been seriously hurt or killed.”
