Jacknifed lorry causes police to shut Gravesend Road at the junction with Brompton Farm Road

A jacknifed lorry caused delays in Strood this morning.

The vehicle folded on Gravesend Road at about 6am.

Police arrived on the scene shortly afterwards.

The road was closed at the junction with Brompton Farm Road at 6.40am for more than two hours.

It reopened at 8.59am.
