Dancer James Jordan admitted he was gutted to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House after he left following a surprise eviction last night.

The Strictly Come Dancing star, who grew up in Medway, was booted out of the house to a mixed reaction from the crowd. As he left, he blew a kiss to wife and fellow Strictly dancer Ola, who he lives with near Maidstone, in the audience.

He told presenter Emma Willis: “Of course I’m gutted I said to everyone I’d like to stay, I’m having a laugh – but if I come out I get to see my wife.”

James had heated exchanges with several housemates including Jedward. He told Emma: “I still can’t believe they’re 25 years old. My nephew is 14 and he’s far more mature. They’re so childish.”

The former Strictly Come Dancing star finished third when he was on CBB back in 2014.

But when When Emma suggested James had been softer in this series, he strongly refuted it, claiming it was just “good editing”.

James had a spectacular falling out with former Gillingham footballer Jamie O’Hara, after James called Jamie a “washed up footballer” but he later apologised.

James told Emma: 'I did have a few days where I was really ill suffering from flu, that's probably when I apologised [to Jamie].'

His departure last night had a big effect on reality star Spencer Pratt, who was left in tears when James left the house.
