Police have charged a 35-year-old man with two burglaries in Chatham.

John Ward, of Gold Drive, Wainscott, has been charged following incidents in Hopewell Drive, Chatham, on February 25 and 28.

Ward has also been charged with shoplifting, following an incident at a store on Pattens Lane, Chatham, on February 28.

He has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates court on April 30.
