A choreographer who led her circus act to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent has described the experience as an emotional rollercoaster.
Nikki Bond, of Deering Close, St Mary's Island, put together Enchantment especially for the ITV1 competition.
The act features 12 performers, including roller skater Travis Hickey who teaches roller derby in Lordswood.
The troupe wowed the judges with their performance in the auditions, but were knocked out of the semi-finals on Tuesday.
Simon Cowell described the act as "totally mad", adding: "It made no sense. I don't get it at all."
Fellow judge David Hasselhoff described Enchantment as like "cats in a blender".
He said: "It was kind of like all over the place, but I still thought it was enchanting."
It was not just the judges who Enchantment failed to impress. They were booted out of the competition at the end of the show following the public vote.
Nikki said: "Being part of Britain's Got Talent has been an emotional rollercoaster. It's been an amazing experience, but very intense. We have been rehearsing almost every day.
"We all felt so deflated after the semi-final. Although we got buzzed out by two of the judges I still think we did a good performance. It just wasn't to Simon Cowell's taste.
"We are still proud of how far we got and hopefully this isn't the end for Enchantment. I have got a talented team and we plan on staying together."
