Invicta Dynamos claimed their first four-point weekend of the season after victories over Oxford City Stars and Chelmsford Chieftains.
Coach Kevin Parrish had demanded more from his team, following a stuttering start to the campaign and they delivered.
They hit double figures for the first time on Saturday after brushing aside lower division side Oxford in their NIHL Southern Cup encounter.
The game ended 11-2 with Canadian Justin Noble, pictured, hitting four of the goals. Further strikes came from Joe Bliss, Nathaniel Rose, Peter Vaisanen, Arran Strawson, Daniel Fudger, Callum Best and Grant Baxter.
Noble opened Dynamos’ account with less than a minute on the clock and the visitors led 4-0 at the end of the first period, helped by a good performance by netminder Andy Moffat.
By the end of the second, Noble had claimed his hat-trick and he scored the last of the night to complete a comfortable win.
Parrish’s side had been on the wrong end of an 8-3 scoreline the week before, at Chelmsford, and had revenge on their mind in Gillingham on Sunday.
And they registered a 4-3 win thanks to goals from Anthony Leone (2), Andy Smith and Joe Bliss in what was their final Southeast Trophy game of the season.
