Tracey Crouch is new sports minister under David Cameron's leadership

Kent MP Tracey Crouch has been announced as the Tories' new sports minister.

The 39-year-old was elected in 2010 and is a qualified FA football coach who manages a girls' football team.

But she hasn't always followed the party line.

The Chatham and Aylesford MP, who was born in Ashford, abstained in the university tuition fees debate; voted against the badger cull and voted against press regulation.

She was recently supported in her campaign for re-election by Queen guitarist Brian May, who visited MPs whose values he believed in.
