The 'Kingsnorth Six' have criticised the news that the Attorney General could refer their case to the Court of Appeal.

Ben Stewart, one of the group of protesters cleared of criminal damages at the coal-fired power station last August has branded the move 'a mockery of the jury system.'

He said: "I think it is very concerning, it seems to me that this government doesn't really trust normal people from deciding what's right and wrong on climate change."
