Kmfm listener Jeff Banks was quick of the mark – winning a big cash prize just three days into the radio station’s competition.

Mr Banks, of Henry Street, Rainham, correctly guessed the final song in the six songs in six seconds competition to win £2,066.

The competition was sponsored by Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.

The songs were: Bobby Brown, Two Can Play That Game; Bruno Mars, Marry You; The Wanted, All Time Low; Ed Sheeran, Lego House; Katy Perry, Firework; and Lady Gaga, Born This Way.

Five other listeners had guessed the preceding songs, and Mr Banks, a salesman for Mid Kent Electrical, completed the set when he called up on Wednesday.

He said: “The other five got them pretty quickly. When you know, you know. Somebody had to get it at some point.”

The 34-year-old father-of-two said he planned to spend the money on improving his house.
