Police shut a lane of the A229 after a single-vehicle crash

Officers on patrol came across the accident at 6.33am on the A229, near Blue Bell Hill, towards Maidstone.

They helped out, and the ambulance was called to attend as a precaution.

A lane closure was put in place while the incident was dealt with and officers left the scene at around 7.45am.
