Large emergency response in Rainham High Street after medical incident near Manor Farm Beefeater restaurant

There is a large emergency presence near a restaurant after a medical incident.

Police and paramedics were called to Rainham High Street today, shortly before 4pm, to an incident near Manor Farm Beefeater.

Images shared online show multiple emergency vehicles parked outside the restaurant.

A police spokesman said: “We were called by the ambulance service to a medical incident in High Street, Rainham, at 3.45pm today.

“Officers are currently at the scene assisting paramedics.”

The ambulance service has been contacted for more information.

Reports suggested the incident caused delays through Rainham earlier but these have now cleared.
