Pop duo Jedward are bringing their trademark quiffs to Chatham this Christmas.

Former X Factor stars John and Edward look set to come to the Towns to see their pal Vanilla Ice in Peter Pan at the Central Theatre.

The American rapper, who is playing Captain Hook, posted on Twitter that he had spoken to Jedward who said they were "most def coming" to see the show.

The twins, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, have remained friends with Vanilla Ice after he featured on their debut single.

The track, Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) was released in February 2010 and reached number two in the UK singles chart.

Vanilla Ice has also begun a countdown to his arrival in Chatham on Twitter.

He posted this week: "15 days until rehearsals for Peter Pan. I'm playing Cpt Hook. Going to be awesome."
