When Victoria Russell checked why her internet had stopped working, she wasn't expecting to find a feline family.
Mrs Russell, of Arden Street, Gillingham, checked the router behind the TV and found a cat feeding two tiny kittens.
Mrs Russell and husband James, who have a daughter, Lilia, five, have a cat-flap in their kitchen for their own cat, which died earlier this year.
Mr Russell, 38, said: "She must have brought them in through that into our kitchen and up the stairs to the living room.
"I have no idea how she got behind the TV, it’s not the easiest place to get to."
Mr Russell took the cats to a vet to check whether the mum had been microchipped but she wasn't and they have been unable to trace her owner.
Mr Russell said he plans to keep the kittens until they are old enough to be rehomed.
