Lordswood extended their lead to 42 points in Shepherd Neame Kent League Division 1 with a seven-wicket win over Tenterden on Saturday.
The visitors made light work of their opposition in a game that lasted a little more than 40 overs.
Lordswood dismissed Tenterden for just 77 in 23 overs.
The home side put on 28 for the first wicket, but once John Williams picked up the scalp of Daniel McDonald, wickets quickly fell. Williams went on to return 4-20 from six overs, James Iles took 2-26 and Richard Cross claimed 4-12.
Although Lordswood lost Lyndon Lockhart and Peter Stock cheaply, Alan Pattenden (pictured) called on all his experience with an unbeaten 24 to help the team to 78-3 in less than 20 overs and a seventh win in eight outings so far this summer.
