A lorry crashed into a railway bridge this morning, causing delays to commuters.
Police were called at 7.50am after a lorry driver attempted to go under a low bridge in London Road, Strood.
The roof of the lorry was damaged in the impact, but the vehicle was moved away from the bridge and it is not causing an obstruction.
Network Rail checked the bridge for any damage, before reopening it. Train services have now returned to normal.
Services between Strood and Paddock Wood via Maidstone West were also affected by the disruption.
