One lane is blocked and traffic has slow due to an overturned lorry at a roundabout.

The accident happened on the roundabout at the end of the Medway Tunnel at the entrance to Medway City Estate, Strood, on t he A289 Berwick Way.

There is now congestion around the industrial estate and one lane is blocked at the roundabout.

The accident happened this afternoon.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 12.42pm to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a lorry in Maritime Close, near Medway City Estate.

"Officers are at the scene and a closure is currently in place at the roundabout while the incident is responded no.

"No serious injuries are believed to have been reported."
