Junction 4 slip-road on westbound M2 shut for emergency resurfacing

A motorway slip-road is closed for emergency resurfacing works following an earlier incident.

The exit slip for the westbound M2 at Junction 4 for Hempstead shut earlier this evening and is not expected to reopen until 6am.

National Highways says the works were necessary following an incident involving a broken-down vehicle.

In a statement, the company said: “We'll keep you updated, thank you for your patience.”
