Delays are expected in an area for the next week due to roadworks.

The works are taking place outside the Borstal Cricket Club grounds, in Wouldham Road, Rochester, and the road is closed.

They began on Monday morning and are anticipated to last until next Friday.

The works are being carried out by Medway Council, and new drainage is being installed.

The team is also resurfacing sections of the road.

There is a diversion route via Rochester Road in place.
