Jamie Goodege is accused of stabbing the alleged victim during an incident at a house in Fourth Avenue, Gillingham, on January 25.
Police and paramedics were called at around 2.25pm and discovered a man in his late teens requiring medical treatment.
He was then airlifted to a London hospital in a stable condition.
Following the reported assault, Goodege, of Fourth Avenue, Gillingham, was arrested and later charged with attempted murder.
Appearing via a prison video link, he pleaded not guilty during a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court today (February 24).
His trial, which is expected to last a week, is due to start on July 7.
