A former Special Constable is alleged to have falsely claimed his ex-girlfriend and others threatened his life.
Tristian Smith, a paramedic, is also alleged to have made false allegations that masked men raided his family home after following his car and attacked him.
The 25-year-old, of St Williams Way, Rochester, faced 10 charges when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.
He denied assaulting his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Clark-Hughes causing actual bodily harm on September 23 2017, six charges of perverting the course of justice, unauthorised access of a computer, securing unauthorised access of a computer with intent and securing unauthorised access to computer material.
Smith, who studied at Kent University in Canterbury, is accused of hacking into Miss Clark-Hughes’ Facebook and Hotmail accounts and sending messages purporting to threaten him.
He is also alleged to have created false text messages with threats to him purported to have been sent by Miss Clark-Hughes’ parents.
Recorder Eleanor Laws QC set a trial date for November 11. A pre-trial review will be held on September 27. Bail was continued.
