A man has been charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child and making indecent images of a child after he was arrested in Medway.

William Campbell, 48, of no fixed address, was arrested in Chatham on Thursday, November 30.

Campbell appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on Friday, December 1 and was remanded in custody.

His case was sent to Maidstone Crown Court to be dealt with and he is next due to appear there on Friday, December 22.
