A man has been charged after multiple reported burglaries.
Police were called after money was stolen from a church in New Road, Chatham, after it was reportedly broken into.
A keyboard was also taken and a window and door were damaged during the incident on Thursday, August 11.
Ten days later, a business in Old Road was reportedly targeted and six mobile phones, a bank card and some cheque books were alleged to have been stolen.
Yesterday (August 29) police were called to reports of a suspected intruder inside a house in New Road.
The victim reported damage had been caused inside the property.
Officers attended and a man was arrested at the scene.
Steven Convey, of no fixed address, was later charged with three burglaries.
The 33-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 27 for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing.
