A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing.
Kent Police was called to Rochester High Street at 9pm on Thursday (November 2) following a report a man had been assaulted at an address there.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).
A man in his 30s was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds.
He has since been released from hospital.
Following inquiries, a man, who is known to the victim, was arrested at the property.
Detectives from North Kent CID have since charged Daniel Baker with attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.
The 29-year-old, of Rochester High Street, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (November 4).
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on December 4 this year.
